Elements of the Next Dimension
Fragmented reality, multiplied and distributed across the surface through symmetry and chaos, fuels my desire to investigate reality itself.
The landscape and its elements are still my protagonist, but dismantled and assembled, as in the kaleidoscope that fascinated me as a child. It's the concrete possibility to be excited and amazed by the multiple aspects of reality, including those that the imagination produces with nature itself.
In this case the creative process leads me towards the concept of infinity.
The base element of the composition, being metal, wood, stone, ice, repeated, turned and overlapped creates compositions in which the photographic research into detail brings out elements of surprise, where as in its total, the image exalts the material of which it is composed, producing a strong visual impact.
La realtà frammentata, moltiplicata e distribuita sulla superficie secondo simmetrie e caos alimenta il mio desiderio di indagine della realtà stessa.
Il paesaggio con i suoi elementi è sempre il protagonista, ma scomposto e assemblato come in un caleidoscopio dal quale da bambino mi sono fatto affascinare. E’ la possibilità concreta di emozionarsi e stupirsi dei molteplici aspetti della realtà, compresi quelli che l’immaginazione produce con la natura stessa. Il processo creativo qui mi conduce verso il concetto di infinito.
L’elemento base della composizione, che si tratti di ferro, legno, ghiaccio, ripetuto, capovolto o sovrapposto, crea composizioni in cui la ricerca del dettaglio fotografico assume carattere di sorpresa, mentre nel totale l’immagine esalta la materia di cui l’elemento è composto, producendo un forte impatto visivo.
